Overview

The best led Christmas lights for tree are a great way to save money and energy. There are many different types and styles of these lights available on the market, so it is important to do your research before purchasing a set.

Some factors to consider when choosing the best led Christmas lights for your tree include the type of tree you have, the size of your tree, and the climate you live in. It is also important to consider the price, as some sets can be quite expensive.

Once you have considered all of these factors, you will be able to narrow down your choices and find the best led Christmas lights for your tree.

HOW IMPORTANT LIGHT IS ON CHRISTMAS NIGHT?

It is no coincidence that people prefer to use LED lights on special occasions, also because of the following outstanding advantages:

LED lights with low power consumption

LED lights can save power consumption from 70 to 80% compared to conventional lamps. Therefore, LED lighting emits less heat than similarly structured lamps. As a result, it is possible to reduce CO2 emissions, which are very safe to use, both healthy and environmentally friendly. On average, an LED with a capacity of about 5W will give the same light as a 20W ordinary light bulb. When using LED lighting, the initial cost may be more expensive, but in the long run, it is highly effective.

LEDs with good light

Low power consumption does not mean that LEDs are of poor quality.

LED lights can adapt to many different spatial environments from indoor to outdoor, from narrow to large spaces. All of them can be installed easily, it is very difficult to be affected by external forces when damaged by vibration and impact compared to conventional lights.

In addition, it also has a fairly long life, the average use time is about 50,000 hours to 65,000 hours of lighting (the index is recorded when the lamp operates in a normal environment with a temperature of about 25 degrees Celsius). Lifespan is 3-5 times longer than traditional lamps such as halogen lamps, and fluorescent lamps, and 5 times longer than incandescent bulbs.

Rich Color LEDs:

LED lights are available in many different colors, meeting the diverse lighting needs of each interior space and user preferences. The lights have 3 common types of light: white, yellow, and neutral, in addition to blue, red, and green, etc. In particular, led string lights have a very unique color-changing ability compared to traditional lights only, only one color is white or yellow.

How to buy safe Christmas decorations?

Choose to buy LED lights instead of incandescent lamps

Because most traditional Christmas lights use incandescent bulbs, which are often quite hot and easily damaged, while LED lights have a life span of 5 times, less heat, and save energy even during operation. For a long time, it stays cool to the touch. Using LED Christmas lights not only helps reduce the possibility of fires but also saves energy costs and monthly electricity bills.

Take a close look at the quality of the lights

Check to see if the bulbs are cracked, broken, have loose insulation, or broken wires. Cracked light bulbs or damaged sockets can cause fires or other electrical problems in your home.

Consider the quantity and length of lights to buy

You should consider how much area you need to install your decorative lights by measuring so that they are not overloaded. Using too many decorative lights in an area can lead to electrical fires and poor safety. Lamps with 4-inch spacing between bulbs will help illuminate a larger area at a lower cost.

How to Preserve Christmas Decorations?

To keep the lights from getting tangled as well as being safely stored for the next Christmas season, there are ways to preserve them as follows:

Use cardboard

  • Cut a piece of hard cardboard such as one from a cardboard box, if it's too thin it will fold when you roll the light around. Cut into a rectangle about 30 inches long, and 15 inches wide.

  • Cut a U-shaped notch on either side or width, large enough to fit one end of the string on one edge of the cover.

  • Roll the light around the card, from one end of the card to the other. Doing so will make it easier to remove them next year.

  • Cut another U-shaped notch at the other end of the string when it's finished winding and insert the end

  • Roll the tissue around the light cord. You can roll a thin layer of tissue paper or two around the cardboard to protect the string. This will prevent the string from being damaged during storage

Use a clothes hanger

  • Prepare a plastic clothes hanger (the type with two small hooks on either side of the body is best). You can also use other hangers. Attach one end of the string to a small hook on the side. If you're using one that doesn't have a side hook, you can tie one end of the string to the hook.

  • Roll the light around the hanger, roll it gradually from side to side, then roll it back. You may need to repeat this process a few times before you can fully wind the light.

  • Attach the other end of the light string to the other horizontal hook: Remember to leave a piece of light string long enough to attach to the other horizontal hook on the body of the clothes hanger.

  • Store the hangers: After you roll the lights onto a clothes hanger, you can put them in a box or hang them in a place to continue using next year.

  • If storing the lamp with other items, be sure to wrap a tissue around it to protect the lamp.

Roll up the lights carefully

  • Clip the second bulb on the string between your index finger and thumb. That way, the first and third light bulbs will be next to each other in the palm of your hand

  • Pull up the fourth bulb and clip it to the side of the first bulb. Continue stacking even-numbered bulbs on top and odd-numbered bulbs on the bottom. The bulbs will be lined up and not tangled together

  • Wrap the remaining string around the bulb and plug the two ends of the plug together. When you're done, you'll have a tightly wrapped light bulb with two exposed plugs.

  • Wrap the short piece of cord attached to the plug around the string to hold them together, then insert the two plugs together.
